CEMETERIES
The Town of Ischua maintains seven (7) cemeteries. Mowing and general upkeep of the cemeteries is contracted out. James Cline, Code Enforcement Officer, was most recently awarded the bid.
Abbotts Cemetery
The land for this cemetery was donated by Samuel Wood. Although the land for the cemetery wasn’t deeded until 1880, the first known burial was in 1840. The cemetery is located just east of Yankee Hill Road and situated behind a house at #100 Abbott Road. To access the cemetery take the driveway between the house and church. Please stay to the right.

A small family cemetery located ±0.5 mile north of the intersection of Route 446 and Cuba Lake Road and just south of the Oil Springs Indian Reservation, close to the Allegany County border.
